Finalizing a Fastquote

Once you've filled in all your details to build a FastQuote proposal, you'll arrive at a summary page where you can review the information to ensure everything is accurate.

From this summary page, you can do the following:

Important to note: pricing within the app is defaulted to Unico pricing. For info on getting your distributor integrated into the app, please follow this article

Add An Additional System

If the home or building you're reviewing requires more than one system, you can hit "add system". From here, you'll be walked through each step of the guide once more. The new system will be added to your final quote.

Navigate here to find out more about adding an additional system.

Apply Distributor List Price

To apply your distributor's list price, simply hit the "apply list price" button next to your distributor. This will automatically apply the pricing that your distributor has set up into the system.

If you'd like a more accurate estimate on your specific job, you can request pricing.

Request Pricing

For a more accurate estimate on your FastQuote, selecting the "request" button will generate a pop-up to request pricing through the app. Adjust the body of the email accordingly, and your distributor will receive a request to input their pricing on this job's material list, directly through the app.

Once your distributor has filled in the estimate on your material list, you will be notified by email.

You can then go back to your Proposal, select edit on the right hand side → toggle to the Summary page → view the new pricing.

A window will pop up with all the pricing added to your material list by your distributor. If needed, you can easily re-request a new estimate. Hitting this button will bring you back to the email pop-up where you can adjust the email language again and send an adjusted request.

Send The Proposal

Send the proposal directly to the homeowner by clicking the “Send proposal” button.

Once sent, the homeowner will receive the proposal by email, and it will appear to them exactly how you have seen in the preview.

The proposal is designed to be visually clear and impactful, so that clients are fully aware of the work that will undergo in their home.

The proposal details the following information:

  • Contact details of the assigned contractor and firm

  • Location of installation i.e. the homeowner’s address

  • Estimated start date and duration of installation

  • Total price of installation

  • price breakdown detailing what the homeowner will pay and when

  • material list of all product parts required, if selected on the Project page of your FastQuoteScreen Shot 2025-03-12 at 2.39.27 PM.png

  • Attached assets including photos of the homeowner’s home

  • proposal note from the contractor

Also in the proposal, clients will be able to see the benefits of choosing Unico for their home HVAC system:

In addition, a video of National Sales Director and Co-Owner of Unico, Shannon Intagliata, speaking about the Unico System and thanking the homeowner, features in the proposal:

Clients have the option to either accept or decline the proposal, or select an option titled “I need more help”, if they have further questions. This is shown at the top of the email that is sent.

The proposal features information that is a combination of what a contractor inputs into their FastQuote, and what Unico have already designed for the interface.
