What pressure and velocity are we talking about?

A typical duct system is designed to operate at a duct pressure of .1 or .2 inches of water column (in.wc). However, the Unico system operates at a higher duct pressure of approximately 1.5 in.wc.

This means that the Unico system can deliver air at a higher velocity compared to a conventional system. While a conventional system has a supply duct velocity of 500 to 700 feet per minute (fpm), the Unico system can achieve velocities of 1500 to 2000 fpm. Similarly, the outlet supply velocity of the Unico system ranges from 1000 to 2000 fpm.
