I am a Distributor, How do I Set Up My Pricing?

This article highlights how a distributor can input global pricing or individual custom pricing as part of their profile setup. To learn how a distributor can input pricing on a specific material list, see pricing requests

Setting up your pricing

From the left side bar, select Pricing Screen Shot 2025-03-12 at 1.22.33 PM.png.

Toggle to Company Pricing.

On the left side of the page, you will see a box titled Contractor Multiplier of Unico List Price.

In this box will be the multiplier of the Unico list price that distributors are willing to sell their products to contractors. Enter your multiplier rate into this box. Click ‘Save changes’. Distributor Pricing (2).gif

In the Set Product Prices box, you'll see a ‘Unico list price’ and a ‘Sell to Contractor price' for each product. The latter is what will be affected by your markup percentage.

Custom Prices

If you set up a custom price in the ‘Custom price’ column for a product however, this price will override the automated sell to contractor price for that particular product.

Below the multiplier field on the left hand side, you'll see the number of products that have been given a custom price.

If needed, you can use the search box above the list of products, for a quick search via model number or description.

Note: All prices set by the multiplier will adjust as Unico adjust their prices.  However, if you override the multiplier applied to all prices with a custom price, the custom price will NOT be adjusted as Unico change their pricing.

Contractor Discount

To add a discount specific to your contractor, head to the relationships page → contracting firms. Here, you can select edit discount:

Pricing Confidentiality Note:

A contractor must be "pinned" with their distributor in order to access their pricing.

The PIN system prevents contractors from easily price shopping between distributors. We want the technology to reflect reality; relationships can't be developed through the app unless they already exist in person.
