The PIN system is our relationship tool between contractors and distributors.
The benefit to having your contractor pinned into your app is so that they can see and use your pricing when building a material list for a proposal.
Pricing Confidentiality Note:
A contractor must be "pinned" with their distributor in order to access their pricing.
The PIN system prevents contractors from easily price shopping between distributors. We want the technology to reflect reality; relationships can't be developed through the app unless they already exist in person.
There are two ways to PIN a contractor:

First, you will need to give your Contractor your UnicoSales App PIN Code. You can find this by navigating to Company → Profile. Your contractor can add you by navigating to My Distributors. They can then enter your pin in the “Pair with Distributor” field → “Check for Distributor”. Your firm info will appear in a box on the right → Pair with Distributor .

First, you will need to get in touch with your Contractor directly to get their UnicoSales App PIN Code. They can find this by navigating to Company → Profile. From the left side bar, navigate to My Contracting Firms Using the PIN your Contractor gave you, enter it in the “Pair with Contracting Firm” field. Hit Check for Contracting Firm”. Their info will appear in a box on the right → Pair with Contracting Firm

Note: If your contractor is not in the system yet, you can have them get in touch with their rep company so they can be added.
To See Your Contractors:
On the UnicoSales app, go into Relationships → Contracting firms
Here you will be able to see all contracting firms that you have a relationship with. You will see:
- The contractor name
- Their address
- Associated users (by selecting users)
- Their contractor discount
You can also unpair contractors from here. Unpairing a contractor does not delete them from the system but it does unpair them from you.
