# Distributor FAQ
### About the App
- **Why should a distributor use the app?** While the app was originally built with contractors in mind, we have expanded use of the app to benefit distributors by including:
- our robust [product search](https://helpcenter.unicosystem.com/knowledge/navigating-the-product-catalog?hsLang=en)
- accurate [material lists;](https://helpcenter.unicosystem.com/knowledge/how-do-i-build-a-material-list?hsLang=en)and
- ability to give your contractor [direct pricing](https://helpcenter.unicosystem.com/knowledge/distributor-pricing-requests?hsLang=en)
### Catalog
- **How do I find a product?** Head to the product catalog and you can easily search your product either by search bar or by category inputs. Follow [this article](https://helpcenter.unicosystem.com/knowledge/navigating-the-product-catalog?hsLang=en) for more info.
- **Where can I find product specs?** From the product catalog, once you select a product you'll be brought to a specifications page that also includes compatible equipment.
### Pricing
- **Can I add my own pricing?** Yes, you can find instructions [here](https://helpcenter.unicosystem.com/knowledge/i-am-a-distributor-how-do-i-set-up-my-pricing?hsLang=en).
- **Can I see my contractor's pricing?** No. You cannot see any of your contractor's labor rates or markup, if any.
- **Can I see any other distributor's pricing?** No.
- **Can contractors see my multiplier and overall pricing?** No. A contractor can only access your pricing for a specific job. More details on distributor pricing access can be found [here](https://helpcenter.unicosystem.com/knowledge/i-am-a-distributor-how-do-i-set-up-my-pricing?hsLang=en).
### Proposals
- **Can I see my contractor's proposals?** No. You can see if they've created a proposal, but you cannot access any of the details.
- **Can I edit my contractor's proposals?** No.
